8 days traveling the spectacular highlands of Guatemala, where you can share the daily life of the modern Maya of our country, visiting various markets and small communities located in the mountains where some of which are close to 3000 meters above sea level.

Day 1: Arrival in Guatemala City.

Day 2: Antigua

BREAKFAST. In the morning half-day tour of the colonial city of Antigua Guatemala and San Antonio Aguas Calientes. Free afternoon.

Day 3: San Juan Comalapa - Iximche - Chichicastenango

BREAKFAST. Leaving the city of Guatemala en route to the highlands of Guatemala with its incredible views where each crop to another and the colors of vegetables and flowers mixed field. En route, we visit the famous village of San Juan Comalapa, home of illustrious teacher Rafael Alvarez Ovalle, composer of the beautiful music that composed our national anthem, and home to artists such as Andrés Curruchiche internationally renowned painter, then to the Tecpan area of Guatemala for lunch.

Later we will visit the archaeological site of Iximche, a place where the founded what was city of Santiago de Guatemala in 1524 by Don Pedro de Alvarado. Continue to Chichicastenango, in the late evening we will see how it will give life to the market the next day.

Day 4: Chichicastenango - Xela

BREAKFAST. In the morning visit the outdoor market of Chichicastenango.

In the afternoon transfer to Quetzaltenango Chichicastenango, en route visit some typical villages such as San Andres Xecul with its unique and colorful church, public washing of Totonicapan, and Salcaja where the oldest chapel is located throughout Central America.

Day 5: Almolonga - Fuentes Georginas - Xela

BREAKFAST. Morning Market Business Almolonga and San Francisco el Alto Georginas spa waters.

Day 6: Xela - Nahuala - Santa Clara la Laguna - Panajachel

BREAKFAST. In the morning we headed for one of the most beautiful lakes in the world Lake Atitlan. On the way, we will observe the typical villages of Nahuala, where metate grinding stones are produced; Santa Clara la Laguna on the shores of Lake Atitlan and Solola.

Day 7: Atitlan - Guatemala City

In the morning we cross Lake Atitlan by boat and visit the town of Santiago Atitlan, San Pedro, and San Juan la Laguna. In the afternoon transfer to Panajachel and then to Guatemala City.
