Itinerary:
Day #1: Guatemala City:
Reception at the airport “La Aurora”, upon arrival transfer to your hotel in Antigua for overnight accommodations.

Day #2: Antigua (B, L)
Visit the most important and significant attractions of the city including Antigua’s most beautiful churches, monasteries, convents, and the cultural center. This city is among the world’s best conserved colonial cities, it is a magical and captivating small city that will make you feel time stopped some 300 years ago. For lunch, we have prepared a really nice lunch in one of the best restaurants in the City. In the afternoon visit to San Antonio Aguascalientes and Ciudad Vieja. Overnight accommodations in Antigua Guatemala.

Day #3: Coffee Plantation – Spa Session (B):
Visit one of the oldest coffee plantations in Guatemala. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to discover how coffee is made. Our guide will show the whole process since the beans are picked up on the plantation until it is served as one of the best coffees in the world. This will be a very interesting experience that will teach you all the hard work that takes to make a cup of coffee and the people who are involved. In the afternoon, we will take you to your Spa session, where you can enjoy a relaxing experience. Night in Antigua.

Day #4: Chichicastenango and Iximché (B):
Visit the archaeological site of Iximché, also known as “The Land of Corn”. This city was the first capital of Guatemala and the last Mayan City. Experience for yourself a place fulfilled with mysticism, being the city that witnessed the conquer of the Spanish and a place for Mayan rituals.
After the visit you’ll be transferred to Chichicastenango’s market, the most colorful and exciting place in the Mayan Highlands and the only place in Guatemala with a 100% Quiche population. Admire the historical and mystic Church of Santo Tomás, where the Mayan bible was discovered. Be the witness to Mayan ceremonies inside the church, where you can present their gifts to the Mayan gods. Transfer to Panajachel for overnight accommodations.

Day #5: Lake Atitlan - San Juan La Laguna – Boat tour (B)
Visit Lake Atitlán, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Discover the magic that surrounds all its greatness while taking a boat to cross the lake and visit a Tzutuhil Village. This place is known for being one of the most authentic and best-kept secrets in Guatemala.
The visit will begin with a Cultural tour visiting the different workshops where you discover how a women’s weaving cooperative continues the traditional methods of dying thread with native plants. Observe the process of extracting natural dyes used to create extraordinary textile products. The experience will continue with an explanation of the murals, and a visit to the church and local houses. Transfer back to Panajachel by boat.

Day #6: Lake Atitlan – Guatemala City – Flores (B)
Free morning to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities. In the afternoon transfer to Guatemala City airport to take the flight to Flores.

Day #7: Tikal (B, L):
After breakfast, transfer to one of the most important archaeological sites of the Mayan World, Tikal, its name means “Place of Voices”, built during the Maya Classic Period. Tikal has the distinction of being the first site in Guatemala declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Upon arrival at Tikal archaeological site, our guide will show you the layout of the complex of Temples and Acropolis.
Visit the Complex Q and R, then to the Central Acropolis, Temples I “El Gran Jaguar and the Temple II” Los Mascarones “, regarded as the first and one of the most important monuments in the complex. Visit the Lost World. Return to the visitor’s center for lunch, when finished transfer back to Flores for overnight accommodations.

Day #8: Yaxhá & Topoxté – Guatemala City (B, L):
Transfer to Yaxhá, a former ceremonial center, and city of the Pre-Columbian Maya Civilization. The facilities have evidence of Teotihuacan influence in their architecture and stelae. We can find the only twin pyramid complex outside of Tikal, also known as the Stelae Plaza.
After a lunch boat trip to Topoxté Island, located in the Lake of Yaxhá. During this visit, you will enjoy the wildlife, jungle, and mystic surroundings of this unique area. After we finish the tour, transfer to the airport to take a flight back to Guatemala City.
