In this program, we will know the most important in the Guatemalan highlands, such as Antigua Guatemala, Chichicastenango Market, and Lake Atitlan.
Day 1: Guatemala City / Antigua Guatemala.
Reception at the La Aurora International Airport and transfer to Antigua Guatemala. Upon arrival, we will visit the “Plaza Central” to see “The Cathedral”, “San Francisco Church”, “La Merced”, “Calle del Arco” and the Jade factory. Accommodation.
Day 2: Antigua Guatemala Chichicastenango -Panajachel
Breakfast. In the morning passengers will be collected at the time stated in the hotel to leave for Chichicastenango, the most colorful and exciting place in the Mayan Highlands and the only place in Guatemala with a 100% Quiché population. There you can visit the Church of St. Thomas and the famous outdoor market where you will find crafts, pottery, and textiles of the most varied forms and colors. Day 3: Panajachel - Santiago Atitlan - Guatemala City.
Breakfast. Visit Lake Atitlán, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Discover the magic that surrounds all its greatness while taking a boat to cross the Lake and visit a Tzutuhil Village. Visit Santiago Atitlan where you will visit the confraternity of the local saint named Maximon or RiLaj Mam, visited by different people of different ethnicities who come to ask for health and prosperity in their lives. Day 4: Guatemala City
Breakfast. Transfer to the center of Guatemala City, on the way you will have a view of the residential zone such as zone 14, Avenida Las Americas, and Avenida Reforma. You will have a panoramic view of the National Palace (Palacio Nacional), “Metropolitan Cathedral” and “Civic Center” which consists of buildings built between the 50s and 60s such as the Supreme Court, the City Hall, the Guatemalan Social Security Institute, the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism, the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Guatemala.
