Overview

Mystical cave that invites you to venture into the Heart of Mother Earth, open to the public since 2002, where 90% is water, where you can take walks in different water levels, swim in the internal pools, climb a waterfall with rope receiving the force of the water on the whole body or its side with a ladder observing its fascinating and capricious rock formations sculpted by the hand of Mother Nature.
This tour lighting with candles is done with the accompaniment of a local guide of the Q’eqchi ethnic group and the visitor can experience exciting jumps towards the natural pools.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Guatemala City – Lanquín:
Departure from Guatemala City, Antigua, Atitlan Lake, or Isla Flores to Lanquín. After a 4-hour drive, the bus will briefly stop at Cobán for a toilet, coffee, or relaxing your legs. Then you will continue to Lanquín where people from your hotel will wait for you to take you to your hotel.
Standard: Hostel Oasis (Lanquín) or El Portal (Semuc Champey).
Day 2: Lanquín Caves and Semuc Champey (B):
After breakfast, the adventure will begin by taking a one-hour journey to get to Semuc Champey, a monument made by nature, explore the natural beauty, and swim in the pools carved out of limestone. Relax and enjoy. You will enjoy the Kamba caves & tubing at Cahabon River. (L) After the tour, you will be back to your hotel. (D)
Standard: Lanquín Caves and Semuc Champey
Day 3: Lanquín – Guatemala City (B):
Breakfast. A 7-hour ride will be taken to return to Guatemala City or Antigua.
