Day 1: Guatemala City/La Antigua Guatemala.
We will meet you at Aurora Airport in Guatemala City and then transfer you to the city of Antigua Guatemala. Accommodation
Day 2: Antigua Guatemala.
Breakfast. Route takes us through the old stone city of Antigua where we also discover the churches of La Merced and San Francisco, the Jade Factory, ancient villages such as Ciudad Vieja, and then on to Saint Antonio Aguas Calientes and San Felipe.
Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation
Day 3: Antigua Guatemala – Chichicastenango – Panajachel (Lake Atitlán)
After breakfast, we depart for Chichicastenango to visit the Craft Market and the Church of Santo Tomás. In the afternoon we continue on to Panajachel, known also as Lake Atitlán.

Day 4: Panajachel – Santiago Atitlán – City of Guatemala.
After breakfast, we visit the village of Tzutuhil, famous for its craftsmen and especially for beautiful clothes made with bright, lively colours. In the afternoon we transfer to the City of Guatemala.

Day 5: City of Guatemala.
After breakfast passengers will be collected at their hotel and will visit the National Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Map in Relief and the Civic Centre. Return to the hotel.

Day 6: City of Guatemala – Copán.
After breakfast, we head North East into the countryside until we arrive at the border. After which we will visit the important archaeological site of Copán. There we will learn all about the ancient ball games and the significance of the fascinating pyramids. (Please note: it does not include: The Tunnels, The Sepulturas and Museum).
Transfer to hotel. Accommodation
Day 7; Copan - Quiriguá - Rio Dulce.
After breakfast, we leave Copán and head for the Guatemalan Caribbean. En route, we visit the archaeological site of Quiriguá, where we will discover the biggest trails of the Mayan civilization. Thereafter, we arrive at Rio Dulce.
Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.
Day 8: Rio Dulce – Livingston – Flowers (Petén).
After breakfast, we travel to Rio Dulce where we will explore the Castle of Saint Felipe of Lara, and the Island of Birds, visit the hot springs and meet the unique Garífuna people of Livingston. In the afternoon we return to Rio Dulce and transfer to Flores.

Day 9 Flores – Tikal – Flores (Petén).
After breakfast, we visit the ancient Mayan city of Tikal, definitely the best example of classical Mayan culture. This park is 576 km2 offering a combination of monumental buildings surrounded by abundant vegetation and wildlife. It is very common to see Tucans, Ocelots and many other small animals like the Spider Monkey, Howler Monkey and Pizotes. They can easily climb structures such as Temple IV, the largest pre-Hispanic building in the Americas (69m or 230ft). We will then have a lovely picnic served inside the park (does not include drinks). Finally, we return to the hotel in Flores.

Day 10: Flores (Petén) -Yaxchilán-Palenque
After breakfast we depart towards the Usumacinta River where we will then cross the border into Mexico (Please note: the fee to cross the border into Mexico is not included (Approximately 25.00 dollars). After the border, we head to the archaeological centre of Yaxchilán (Green Stones in Maya). A Mayan city located on the Usumacinta River in the current state of Chiapas, Mexico. Yaxchilán is known for its large quantity of high-quality sculptures. We will have a Box Lunch on this day and then continue to Palenque, arriving around midday.

Day 11: Palenque-Campeche
After breakfast we visit the archaeological centre, It is one of the most impressive places from the Mayan culture. In comparison with other cities, the Mayans considered it to be of average size: lower than Tikal or Copán, Highlights include the architectural design and the sculptures. We then continue on to Campeche.

Day 12: Campeche-Uxmal-Mérida
After breakfast, we leave Campeche and visit Uxmal, an ancient Mayan city from the classical period. This is one of the most important archaeological sites of the Mayan culture, together with Chichén Itzá and Tikal. Situated in the Puuc Zone, it is the best example of this type of architectural style. Around midday, we will arrive in Mérida, the capital of the state of Yucatán.

Day 13: Mérida-Chichén Itzá-Cancún
After breakfast, we head for Chichén Itzá, which is one of the main archaeological places of Yucatán, Mexico. Chichen Itza is an exceptional example of the pre-Hispanic civilization most important to the Mayan people. Breakfast is included (without drinks). After this, we continue on to Cancún.

After breakfast, we will transfer you from the hotel to the airport in Cancún.
